Certification                                                                                        

Certifying your website is quick and easy. Unlike the prospects and visitors to your website who have already found you “unsafe until proven trustworthy,” we certify your website instantly. You can be up and running with in minutes. After submitting your application along with the certification fee of $9.95:

 

1)      Fill out the online application and pay the $9.95 certification fee. 

 

2)      Website Requirements: Display valid contact information including: phone, email and mailing address. Use 128-Bit SSL Encryption on pages capturing Credit Card Data, Social Security Numbers and Loan Information. It must also display a Privacy Policy (reviewed and approved by the Integrity Business Bureau). 

 

3)      Within 24 business hours we will send you your unique code via email. This code will display the image of the Trusted Seals, link to a secure verification page on IBB’s site displaying the verification of your company information, and also function as affiliate tracking if you decide to join our affiliate program.

 

4)      The final step is for you to embed the special code on your website and watch your online sales and opt-in conversion increase.

 

Within the next 1-10 business days, the following items will be completed:

 

·         Your website is immediately reviewed to make sure the information on your site matches the information on your application.

·         We will send a certified letter to the address displayed on your website. You will need to read, sign and fax the letter to the fax number on the letter.

·         We will send an email to the email address displayed on your website. You will need to read the email and follow the instructions listed to verify the email address.

·         We will call the phone number displayed on your website in order to confirm the number functions properly and is monitored by yourself or an employee.

·         We will review your privacy policy as well as other security statements that address issues including privacy, security and identity.

·         We will also verify the personal information of one representative of your company. This information will NOT be published publicly and will be held with the highest confidentiality.

 

Once the above items are completed, you will receive a Verified Website Certificate declaring your induction as a trusted member of the Integrity Business Bureau.

 

Be sure to track your increase in conversion (opt-in and sales) during your 30 day trial. If you like the results you see, you will be conveniently billed $33/month for your ongoing membership and use of the web seals. If you are not 100% satisfied with the results, contact us before the end of your 30 day trial and you will never be billed again.

The Integrity Business Bureau reserves the right to withhold membership from any company. Please take note of the following website types. As a general rule, if your company website contains, promotes, sells or is affiliated with any of the following criteria, you will NOT obtain membership in the Integrity Business Bureau. Exceptions to the following criteria are approved on a per customer basis.

 

• Illegal Drugs, Prescription Drugs, Controlled Substances.
• Alcoholic Beverages.
• Cigars, Cigarettes and other Tobacco Products.
• Gambling in any form including but not limited to: Raffles, Lotteries and other Games of Chance.
• Pornography in any form.
• Adult Content, Products or Services.
• Hacker related sites, including but not limited to: pirated software, music, video or free access to any unpaid service.
• Sorcery, Black Magic, Psychic, etc.
• Multi-Level Marketing (Unless Pre-Approved by Integrity Business Bureau via our Free Website Evaluation Process).
• Content that discriminates against race, sex, religion, ethnicity, culture, etc.
• Illegal crimes or extremely graphic violence.
• Selling of Firearms, Ammunition, Explosives, Fireworks and Affiliated Paraphernalia.
• Exchanging Bonds, Securities, Foreign Currency and other “same as money” types of paper.

 

*** Important***  (20 days from purchase)  If we are unsuccessful in verifying your site (phone is never answered, no email response or you choose to not fax us your response to our certified letter, your membership will be terminated.  Please refer to our Billing Policy for all other questions.
